The MS 251 chainsaw is part of the Stihl gardening equipment and machinery range with a 3 HP petrol engine. The Stihl MS 251 model ensures up to 20% lower fuel consumption and up to 50% reduced pollutant emissions compared to conventional STIHL 2-stroke engines without 2-MIX technology. It is an ideal chainsaw for domestic and household activities, for cutting firewood, wood construction, felling trees with a diameter up to 30 cm, and caring for trees and bushes. It is simple to handle during cutting and features a reduced number of vibrations.

Attention! This machine is equipped with a 2-stroke engine and uses a mixture of petrol and oil as fuel. When using original STIHL HP oil, the mixing ratio is 1:50 (20 ml of oil to 1L of petrol).

• Side-mounted chain tensioner - the chain tensioning screw is located on the side and is operated through the sprocket cover, thus preventing hand contact with the chain and the spikes of the bumper spike.
• Anti-vibration system - implemented by STIHL on power tools with AV system significantly reduces the vibrations of moving tools.
• STIHL Ematic system - consists of the Ematic guide bar, Oilomatic saw chain, and a variable-flow oil pump. The bar and chain design ensures optimal lubrication, so oil consumption can be reduced by up to 50%.
