This is a seed mixture that features excellent sod-forming qualities, thanks to the presence of a hybrid of Poa pratensis with aggressive rhizomes. This makes the mixture ideal for installing sports fields that undergo heavy usage during both summer and winter periods. The mixture contains 2 fine-leaved perennial Lolium varieties and 2 fine-leaved Poa pratensis varieties; the Poa pratensis hybrid is called "Thermal Blue." This hybrid is coated with Zip Seed technology to ensure faster germination and establishment, comparable to perennial Lolium, ultimately resulting in a species-balanced lawn. The Thermal Blue hybrid is characterized by rapid germination (8–10 days under optimal conditions) and very fast development of lateral rhizomes.
